this chapter showed a lot of contradictions in Ines: She was relieved he was gone (because he makes her waver in her decision to divorce him), but then wanted him with her (because he's a source of comfort); she wanted to find another woman to help her set him up in order to divorce him, but also wanted no woman near her man
And i find it all really interesting because, going off my previous analysis, she doesn't really want to go through her plan anymore and is only really sticking to it because it would hurt her pride if she abandoned the plans she had for YEARS. She knows Carcel is a safe option as a husband and a great lifelong partner who provides her the support she needs, but also she doesn't want to admit she was in the wrong for her plans. I also like to think that Carcel's support is actually not only helping her heal from the trauma, but also reverting her to the woman she was before Oscar.
I also find it funny how jealous she gets bc he also gets very jealous 😭😭 these two are a match made in heaven
