Elesia seems like a good option well not as someone who is a backup for kasiya but for the position of empress. She's responsible, empathetic and enthusiastic in what she does.

Elesia would be a good choice but then they'd have to form a team of stealth knights to assign to her when she sneaks out of the camp or palace and goes skipping for herb-gathering or whatever 😭😭
Girl is gold hearted but also an airhead. I wish they told her in no less terms that her capture could lead to hostage situation or something so she wouldn't sneak off alone smh

Oh man that’s a bummer… I thought when they realised Kasiya was really busy he’d offer to go with Elesia instead :’) missed opportunity for character/relationship development between them two

TBH, Elesia seems like such a shipper, she'd probably happily let the prince have Kasiya as a mistress if Elesia married him for political reasons...so long as she's allowed to spy on them with opera glasses from time to time to see her faves being happy.
